1. Posting and Replying (includes quoting, fast reply etc)

If you want to start a new topic/thread, you must click on: which is located at the top and bottom of the page (in each section).

When
starting a new topic, you can change the colour of your subject/ title
by clicking the drop down list under 'Subject' choosing the colour you
want.

Changing the Colour, Font, size of your post.

To change the Font, click the 'A' button on the toolbar, Highlight your text choose your font.

To change the colour, highlight your text again, click the button with different colours and choose the colour you want.

To change the size of your text, highlight your text, click the 'A' button, left of the colour pad and choose your size.

However,
the last button on the toolbar enables you to see how your post will
come out. If you click this button, you can add images, colour your
text etc like you would do in a normal word document etc.

You are also able to use smilies in your posts.

Type your message then click 'send' to submit your post.

Fast Reply

If you're in a rush you can use 'Fast Reply' which is at the bottom of the page.

Quoting

To Quote a post, you must click at the top of the post. It will come out like this:

3. How to add an Image

If
you have an image on your computer then you should get a Photobucket
account ( image hosting) and upload your pictures there. http://photobucket.com/ (Make sure you set your account to private )

Once you upload your pictures, you want to copy the IMG code that you see. Paste that into the message box.

If
you have a link, you can do the same but clicking 'upload from link' or
you can click the image button on the toolbar (2nd on the last line).
Paste your link in there and press Ok. When you post your image will come out like this:

4. How to add a link

Next to the image button, there is a dark grey image which is for adding links.

When
you click it, there are 2 boxes, the first box is where you paste your
link. The second, is what you want your link to appear like e.g. most
people put the same link again or 'Click Here' etc.

Now when you post your link, it is automatically clickable

e.g.

http://www.google.co.uk/

5. How to add an Avatar and Signature

Avatar

Go to your Profile ---> Avatar ---> You can either upload and image from your computer OR paste a URL (link) into 'Link to an off-site Avatar.'

Signature

Just like adding an image, you need the IMG code for signatures aswell.

Go to your Profile ---> Signature ---> Paste the code im the box. It will look like this:

Your signature will come out like this:

For Images next to each other, paste the codes together without any space, like this:

Your signature will come out like this:

7. Other

At the bottom of the main page, before the 'Who Is Online?' box, on the right hand side you will see:
'Today's Active Topics' , ''Today's Top 20 Posters' etc.

Today's Active Topics allows you to see overall, all the posts and topics made today, this is a much easier way to browse the forum.

Today's Top 20 Posters is the members who made the highest posts today.

Overall Top 20 Posters is the members who have the highest posts.
